Alix Raine has more than 20 years of communications, investor relations and management expertise. As SVP Communications North America, Raine is responsible for raising corporate awareness to customers, employees, media and analysts for United Business Media’s North American businesses.
Most recently, Raine was a strategic player in the transformation of UBM LLC into a next-generation media company. She works closely with the technology businesses - Everything Channel, Think Services, TechInsights and TechWeb - to create visibility and awareness as well as managing the internal and external communications around bolt-on acquisitions.
For more than ten years, Raine has been responsible for creating messaging, public relations, communications, event sponsorship, advertising and other visibility programs for UBM.
Prior to joining the company in 1998, Raine managed the day-to-day operations of the investor relations group at Ketchum/Omnicom. Earlier in her career, Raine managed media relations at Helm Resources, Inc. and corporate communications at Savin Corporation.
Raine holds an M.B.A. from Western Connecticut University, an M.S. from State University of New York and a B.S. from Cornell University.
