As Chief Information Officer for United Business Media LLC, Prinz is responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT within UBM, including business systems, Internet development, Infrastructure, desktop and telecommunications. Prinz is responsible for key technology initiatives within Central IT and works with each division (Everything Channel, TechInsights, TechWeb and Think Services) in identifying and deploying essential technology. He also oversees building operations across all business locations.
Prinz joined the company in 1995 as a network engineer and, in 1999, he became Director of IT Infrastructure, where he managed Miller Freeman initiatives. He was promoted again in 2005 to VP of Information Technology, heading all aspects of information technology services. In 2007, Prinz was promoted to VP of Information Technology & Operations, assuming responsibility for facilities management and corporate services.
